All Village of Solon Springs elections are held in Solon Springs Community Center at 11523 S. Business Hwy. 53.
Polls open at 7:00 a.m. and close at 8:00 p.m.

In-Person Absentee Voting at the Village Clerk’s Office
You can vote absentee in person at the Village Clerk’s Office, 11523 S. Business Hwy. 53. In-person absentee voting ends at the close of business on the Friday before the election. Voter Photo ID is the law in Wisconsin. Voters will be required to show proper voter photo ID such as a Wisconsin-issued driver’s license or state-issued ID in order to receive a ballot and vote. To learn about getting a Wisconsin ID card, please visit the Wisconsin Department of Transportation website. Any registered Wisconsin voter can also request that an absentee ballot be mailed to them. ABSENTEE VOTING DEADLINES:
BY MAIL: The deadline for making application to vote absentee by mail is 5:00 p.m. on the Thursday preceding the election. (For military, indefinitely confined electors and sequestered jurors the deadline remains at 5:00 p.m. the Friday before an election).

All candidates must complete ballot access documents and return them to the clerk by the deadline:
Declaration of Candidacy (EL-162)
Declaration of Candidacy | Wisconsin Elections Commission
Complete and submit a Declaration of Candidacy (EL-162) to the Clerk no later than 5:00pm on the first Tuesday in January. The filing of this form is also a requirement that must be met in order for a candidate’s name to be placed on the ballot. It must be signed in front of the Clerk or a Notary.
Campaign Registration Statement (CF-1)
Complete and submit a Campaign Registration Statement (CF-1) to the Clerk as soon as you decide to run for office no later than 5:00pm on the first Tuesday of January.

Nomination Papers for Nonpartisan Office (EL-169)
- Circulate and submit Nomination Papers for Nonpartisan Office (EL-169) to the Clerk no later than 5:00pm on the first Tuesday in January.
- Nomination papers may not be circulated before December 1. Any signatures obtained prior to December 1 will not be counted.
- 20 signatures must be filed. You are encouraged to obtain more than the minimum required in case there are signatures which may be disqualified.
- A nomination paper circulator must be a qualified elector of Wisconsin or, and a permanent resident of the Village of Solon Springs, age 18 or older.
Candidates for local offices must file ballot access forms with the Clerk.
